Will Boingo Wireless adversely affect the plans of cellular operators to create “wireless Internet” demand for their next-generation networks? The short answer: No short- term affect, but there could be trouble ahead for the cellular carriers.
I think this is likely to be a big deal over time, though the price strikes me as a bit high. More on this later.
