You don’t have to agree with Steve Ballmer to like the guy. He says exactly what he believes, and he knows what he believes.

Maybe the cliché was true once. But if you come to London call ahead — a month ahead is recommended — and make a reservation at the River Café.

The quality of the food is astonishing (try the grilled squid — wow), and the service is fine. It’s pricey, but the bottom line is that I haven’t enjoyed a meal more in years.
