I’m heading to London later today, for NetMedia 2000, an annual new-media journalism conference. I’ve been a speaker each year of the conference’s history, and also help out on the computer-assisted journalism training.
My topic this year is productivity tools for on-the-road journalists. This weblog will play an important role in that discussion. The ability to post directly to the Web may, in the end, turn out to be the most important traveler’s tool of all — because we’re rapidly reaching a time where we’ll find a browser wherever we happen to be.
